With 400+ members, the Bexar Chapter of Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) is one of the largest chapters in the United States and is a recognized voice and advocate of licensed Professional Engineers.
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) San Antonio Chapter provides local civil engineers a pathway for building leadership skills, exchanging ideas, and creating lifelong professional relationships.
The Engineer of the Year and the Young Engineer of the Year are an annual awards presented by NSPE-TX during Engineers Week to member engineers who go above and beyond in not only their engineering career, but also by working within professional organizations and excelling in life outside of their careers. Awardees typically participate in a leadership capacity with multiple professional organizations, volunteer their time with charities, write articles about engineering topics for publications, or do many other things that benefit the community.
